Waste of time. The “DLL for Add Reference.zip” file had a dll in side it “WebCam_Capture.dll” which has 2 dependencies that are not on most computers. niScope_32.dll & niFgen_32.dll I have no idea what these dlls are but they are not Microsoft ones. As others have suggested below, these may be part of a copyrighted project. The Project is completely useless without them.

This was a cool application but can i get a option to change the resolution as i can set max 640 only can i increase that and how can i provide a video source drop down near the camera source.

Agree with the posters above. This is NOT open source..it doesnt work well at all (have to reboot PC after one webcam seesion) and really can't configure it's use programmatically. A demo at best..there are other very good - and open source - alternative libraries available. Poor

Using more than one webcam, you can't choose programmatically which to use.

Uses suspicious DLL - not open source. Doesn't work on Win7 Home Premium 64bit Eng.

Agreed. This is NOT an open source project at all, rather a demo project on showing a closed source dll.

This is not open-source project! It's just a demo of using some nonamed library WebCam_Capture.dll. You even didn't bother to note its copyright.

A nice demo. However, it fails to note that the demo is using http://www.planet-source-code.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?txtCodeId=1339&lngWId=10 Considering the original example was designed as a winforms example also, some exceptions are handled for you that you may want to handle differently. Much better to take the original and tweak it from there. Good job exposing this though!
